audioshow.co.uk/north-west-audio-show-2019/This is coming round again end of next month, 29-30th June. I've been twice, might go again this year. It's pretty good for a hi-fi show, free entry too. Beautiful location.

I’m going with Andrew to help out Nick, so I’ll see you in the Longdog Audio room. :-)
Dave is hosting Kondo in his room, looking forward to hearing that.

If the show was a little nearer we would certainly go, but still might.

Well we did go yesterday and very enjoyable it was to. Nothing outstanding but special mention must go to one of the Karma rooms featuring MoFi tt, Primare amp and Falcon speakers. The speakers were placed well into the room, and the sound was very open and a surprising amount of bass for such small uns. Another room with small speakers was CAD, with their equipment sited on Quadraspire with a Lavardin amp and Beonicke W5's. They quite easily filled a large room with good sounds. boenicke-audio.ch/products/loudspeakers/w5/Many rooms featured turntables but one that took my eye was situated in the lobby so unable to hear. I spoke with the owner/manufacturer who makes them at home in his garage/workshop. I have just looked on his website and there is no photo, but if you scroll down the link to Wigwam, you cannot miss the large reddy purple one. hifiwigwam.com/forum/topic/133700-north-west-hifi-show-cranage/?page=3

This is the first show I’ve seen that I wish I’d gone to since the mid 90s. Some awesome gear on show, nice to see the larger Kralk speakers on dem. I really liked those Solidsteel tripod stands too. They have creat proportions. The number of top flight decks was fab too.

I did say it was worth going to. Awkward without a car though, there's no way to get even close by public transport.

Good show, lots to like. I admired the big kralk standmounts, cheap high efficiency drivers to deliver a JBL sort of mini pa sound. Great vfm at under 1300 a pair.

Did you hear those large Amphion speakers Simon?
I thought them very good, guess they should be for 12 grand.

No I missed that and the room next to it. I was disappointed with the denafrips room, couldn't hear past the horning house sound.
Thought the atc 150 were overblown, too big for the room before they came alive.
