We did one back in 2016 which was quite well attended theartofsound.net/forum/show...s-and-CommentsSadly the venue closed not long after and never re-opened. However I am looking at maybe organising another, possibly at the very beautiful location of Keele University: keele-conference.com/Sometime over the summer months, July through September. Excellent facilities, and there's a Marriot hotel adjacent to the campus for anyone who wants or needs to stop overnight. I thought if we could get maybe twenty people expressing an interest it would be worth going ahead. As per the last one, and Steve's very well received NEBO events, it's a casual get together and about having a bit of fun not solemnly comparing cables or whatever. So please shout out if you would be interested in attending. If you can, say when over the summer will be best for you. If there is enough interest I'll move on to booking a room. No need for a firm commitment, and there'll be no charge to attend.

I'd be up for that Macca.
Date needs to right for me though as the new job is a bit erratic time wise.
September would probably give it time to settle down.

Will see how mum is and finances are, nearer the time, but it's either a V early start or 2 nights Accommodation which is a bit too spendy at the moment. Not written it off but will look at things nearer the time, maybe stop at mates in Ledbury for a few days either side so only 1hr 45.

September is a good option. Has to be before the poxy students come back, but that's not until October.
We now have six, plus a maybe from Lurch.

Would be interested depending on the date (I do have a life) Looks like we are narrowing down to the first two weeks in September.

I'm still really keen. I can't do the first Sunday (1st) of Sept, but any others should be OK.
I can probably get my speakers along if needed.

The university is a bust, they've got nothing free in September.
Going to have to try somewhere else. Will keep you all updated.

Local scout hut, pub meeting room, church hall or community centre. Must be some around somewhere. We don't need much, just power points and water for brews.

Ideally we want booze, food, and rooms for overnight stay - all available on site. Lots of available parking space, and easy access ( i.e a ground floor function room). I did manage to tick all those boxes last time but that venue closed not long after and has never re-opened.

I could enquire about my village hall - it has various rooms and one which seats 20. It's 8 quid per hour. Based in Bradwell, Derbyshire. I would offer my living room, but it ain't big enough for 20 people. Somewhere local to me would make it easier for me to arrive and set up my speakers. Just a thought. Happy to go and check out rooms and availability.

There is a coop over the road, so food is easy. Ground foor: I can check
