Morning all today is pack the car and drive to Barnsley day . Taking quite a pile of gear including Fidele Audio upgraded Quad 405,s and a Geek DAC and Perpetual Technology pair , Mana give tier stand all of which are being sold to go to the Charity a local hospice . Suspect the car will be a bit of a puzzle to fit it all in but will get there . Look forward to anyone that decided to go see me in room 240 .

I hope all attendees, demmers and visitors, have a great time. I'd love to go but I've pondered the likely 7 hour round trip and decided against it.  Lots of photos and audio vids please!! For those wondering about going, it is the most fun and enjoyable and friendly and relevant UK hifi show there is imho. Get there if you can. 👍 |

Lots of interesting stuff there today, the big tandberg monitors sounded good, the little dcs player + clock sounding like a yodelling contest.
Lots of good sound from inexpensive kit.
Those arcam speakers in lurch's room sounded very good, far better than they had any right to.

Had a really great time and met some great peeps and heard some nice equipment.
Looking forward to next year (not sure whether I will display)
Didn't see anyone from here at the show (apart from Bencat) which was a shame.

Well had a great day and left Monday I backed but happy . Got a call from the hotel like the old idiot I am I had left my microphone and stand in the corner and now have to drive over and collect it today . Thanks for anyone that came in my room it was very much appreciated by me .

I'd forgotten how tiring the weekend is for exhibitors. I think I'll return to my old schedule of showing one year and visiting the next.
Seeing so many folks at the Show, including many old friends I hadn't seen since pre-COVID, was great.

I can only echo Ian's sentiments it was a huge amount of fun but my age it wiped me out . It does not help if you do the silly old man thing and leave you Mic and stand in the room and had to drive up and collect it yesterday Doh ! Still we raised nearly £8000 for the charity and had great fun as well . The Show Team has already said it will happen again next year . I will be trying to get a room but will be taking my main system including the Quad ESL,s so that will mean I have showed all three main systems . The year after I will just get a sleep only room and attend as a punter . Hope to see you all there next year because it is a blast .
