My amp and preamp are both fitted with EIZZ XLR's and have been using Vampire and Harmonic Technology cables. Today I decided to plug in a cable that uses Neutrik plugs and it won't fit at the sending end, two different cables!! I've looked and looked at the plugs side by side and can't see a difference unless it is the shape of the anti-twist spine on the plug. Why would EIZZ make a socket that won't fit Neutrik of all makers?!
