Hi Everyone
Great to join this forum.
I have loved music all my life and started my system journey back in the early 80s with Sansui SR222, Nad 3020A and AR18s. Loved this system, I still have the Nad in a second system. My main system has, until now, moved through main stream manufacturers. I generally buy great sounding second hand stuff. I have an LP12 as my main source going in to a Salience Phono stage, everything else is Naim, NAC82, Supercap, NAP 135 mono blocks and SBL speakers. I use a Naim CDX for Cds. Most of my listening is from vinyl but CDs get a look in , especially as they can be picked up so cheaply atm.
Looking forward to chatting on the forum, and moving towards new ways to develop and improve the sound of my system.

Hi Pete,
Welcome to Audio addicts!
I was once the proud owner of a NAD 314 (?) and loved it!
Long time ago now, but still very listenable.
Feel free to dive into any topic you desire and make yourself at home.
There is a good bunch of well seasoned guys here and they are alway happy to chip in with advice or opinion.
The Salience Phonostage will be of particular interest to those here, as we have a largely Analogue population, but digital is now getting some forum space too.
Good to have you here.
Oliver.

Morning Pete and welcome to the forum, and not a minute too late. I can see you've spent a fair amount on your system and you haven't improved on that nice starter system you had. Only joking Pete, I owned NAP 135's, they were definitely the best Naim amplifier, and probably still are, they just didn't have enough strength to power my Obelisks. Are you good with a soldering iron? then get it out of the bottom drawer, dust it down, and we'll have you sorted.

Hi . And welcome. Now... What is your favourite Fall song. You have to answer this question before you can reply to any of my posts. Well ...except this one obviously. Look , just bloody find a Fall song on the interweb and say it's your favourite for ferks sake ! I'll settle for that. In fact just say 'Fantastic life'. And we'll call it quits .

Hi Antonio, I think it is a gooden. maybe not the most detailed but a really good sound, brilliant wide soundstage and lots to really get you involved in the music. It has excellent dynamics and very warm and valve like. It is beautifully put together too.

Engine, too many favourite too mention. Have seen Brix and the Extricated a few times in the past few years and love their versions of LA, Totally Wired, Cruisers Creek. Going back to Mark E would say Industrial Estate, Spoilt Victorian Child, Hip Priest, The mixer, just too many really. How about you, what's yours?? Thanks for the welcome

Following up on interest in the Salience phono stage, it was also sold as Jasmine. The company making it are a Chinese tube amp manufacturer. Here is part of a review: There is the breath of life with Jasmine, something that before I had only heard with tube phono stages. It has very good dynamics, excellent soundstage width, and good high frequency extension/quality like tubes. Overall, it sounded very lifelike. After the first week, the preamp was as quiet as any Iโve had in my system. Wanting to affirm what I was hearing, I took the unit to a friend whose hearing I trust. He compared it to a Levinson 25s with PLS-226 power supply and preferred the Jasmine. Thatโs not meant as a slam on the Levinson, but as a compliment to the Jasmine. Rest of review found here. www.dagogo.com/jasmine-lp2-0-se-phono-preamplifier-review/I've had it about 5 years and loved it, but have started to think that it is time to look to other phono stages
