Hi everyone! Thought I'd write a couple of lines about myself . I am a member of LencoHeaven and AOS. I live in Southern Finland and have been a total audio geek since 2016 when I caught the bug big time by building a Bottlehead Crack headphone amp. As you might guess by my Lencoheaven membership I am in the process of building a Lenco TT. It is a PTP 6 affair with a plinth molded from polyester resin and betonite mixture. I am into 2ch stereo and my system consists of a MagnaHifi modded Sonos streamer => modded musical paradise DAC => Audio Space ref3.1 300B => Sonus Faber Venere 2,5 I do also have a modest DD TT, a Sony PS X3 and have recently built a phono stage from a kit provided by Jessica Kinchin over @ LH. Frankly, I joined the forum to get in contact with Bigman80 who is the admin (possibly the creator?) of this forum. I want to discuss spotfire cables with him. I have however found lots of interesting threads already so I will definately enjoy my stay here . I can't send private messages, is there a minimum post limit before I am enabled to do so? Cheers, Zleepy aka Karl

Hi Karl, welcome, you have some nice kit there.
So you are the builder of Jessica's phono stage? I have swapped messages so have a good idea of the design as I design stuff as well.
Oli will be along soon enough, I cannot recommend his cables highly enough as he has a wealth of experience with cables.

Cheers, Zleepy aka Karl Hi Karl, and welcome to the forum. We're are glad to have another new member who is doing interesting stuff with their system! I like the fact you've left the well trodden path and ventured off into DIY and Artisan creations. You'll fit in well here. We have a few Lenco lovers here and that PTP project certainly looks worthy of a decent thread! Feel free to share as much as you like about what you're up to. We like that here. That phonostage of yours popped up on my radar yesterday and from the very little i have seen, it looks interesting. As for cables, if you click on my username and view my profile, there is a listed email address. If you can't PM me yet, drop me an email and we can have a chat about cables.

Thanks for the welcome! Well, I am A builder of Jessicas' phono stage but not the one posting about it over at LH. So far I am very pleased with mine but I really don't have much of a reference. My one and only reference is the built in phono stage in my amp and although the amp is quite a serious piece of kit, the phono stage is easily surpassed by Jessicas. I do have almost all I need to put together a AD797 MC phono stage, the one provided by Sachin @ AudioKarma forum and I am looking forward to comparing these two. It would also be very interesting to compare Jessicas phono with your (?) BigBottle MK3 design. I suspect Jessica is planning to do so, she seems to participate in bakeoffs regularily. Well, at least before Covid19 came and changed the world as we know it. /Zleepy

I'm always eager to hear new kit. 😀 We are addicts here... totally obsessed is probably more accurate lol.
