Pair of these tucked away in a corner at the moment. Tannoy Ascots, they sound very nice.

Seventies Cambridge Audio P80 integrated amp. Quite rare and bit of a classic, with very good sound quality. I owned one of these for a short while, changed my A & R A60 for one. Really can't remember why I got rid of it.

I bet it would all add up to a tidy sum if you ever had a clear out. I struggle to keep spare kit for any length of time. Having it sitting round begins to gnaw at me,

Well the Ascots now seem to fetch maybe twice what I paid, but that still isn't exactly a fortune.

No wonder you called me out on my Cheviots Geoff since you have the same ones.... So whats the best amp you've heard them with then? Have you tried one of the Radfords, I quite fancy hearing them on the end of an STA25 or a big Krell/Nelson Pass type beast. They responded pretty well to a Crown DC300A (hence me getting my HH as a poor man's Crown)
