Anyone ever seen anything like this?
It is flat speaker cable with a phono style plug on the end which was used in the 1970's to connect speakers to amps and music centers. It is also internally connected to the speakers so quite hard to replace without ripping speakers apart. The Phono connectors on the back of the unit are also prehistoric....but it works.

Oli do you think you would be able to knock up a pair of speaker cables with RCA type plugs like these on the one end and bananas at the other?
