It's alright. Just very frustrating at times and fighting the type of old-age lethargy that pervades this place we live in is difficult at my age (remembering how my Dad became in his 60's and fighting as hard as I can not to go the same way - and I nearly did...). "Here Beginning or end When it's all gone Why should I pretend Oh, these days Will never come back Do you remember Or did you forget? Losing with every step I take Losing with every move I make Turn into everything I hate Losing with every move I make Looking at the stars, must be a reason Why our hopes feel lost in the glow For every season Looking at the stars See that they move on 'cause I'm not sure If you miss me when I'm gone (I move on) I go on, Carry on"

Back to relaxing 'EM' tonalities while doing some work - ..and one of my all time favourite pieces of 'electronic' music by far best side first -

I think he's done a good job on the Jethro Tull recordings, although one that springs to mind that I would not have purchased was Yes - TFTTO. I'm sure he's making a shitload, even putting yourself and Rudi to shame.

Don't laugh, but the playing is superb (yep, pop groups could PLAY back then and don't knock 'em for being mostly 'pop' which was a dirty word at the time). Heard it on the radio this morning and it brought out my frustrated drumming again..

Another one to play very loudly - Tracks like this are what you nneed efficient speakers and power for. A Nait or A20 just can't - I've tried ...

'Time has come to go Pack your bags, hit the open road Our hearts just won’t die It’s the trip, keeps us alive So many miles So many miles So many miles Away They’re following some dance of light Tearing into the night Watching you fall asleep The sweetest dove in a dream So many miles So many miles So many miles Away'

Santana Welcome. Bought in Cassidys, Gillygate, York. Westie should remember that shop. Always smelled of joss sticks. My records from there still smell of joss sticks years later

Santana Welcome. Bought in Cassidys, Gillygate, York. Westie should remember that shop. Always smelled of joss sticks. My records from there still smell of joss sticks years later I do, indeed York was a vinyl lovers paradise. My wife’s mother was born in York and it’s the place she feels most at home. We still visit regularly and we both adore it.

I've bought a few lp's at Cassidys as well. York was a good place to buy music, haven't been there for 15 years.
