Bass - Nitin Sawhney or Yello - both have oodles of bass, but on a system that can’t handle it you’ll soon know. Strange....I was playing 'Beyond Skin' just a short while ago and wondering how the windows were staying in.

West coast - friendly and laid back Mid-west - friendly and polite East coast - 'Get outta my way!'. And all the women sound like Tyne Daly on acid. In my experience the most friendly people on the west coast are the Mexicans. The west coast Americans are the most selfish people I've ever met . ( except maybe Lancastrians ) ... ...Self self self and nothing else matters. The east coast are unfriendly and dirty and bombastic and they hate the English because they want to be English.. I've been to Long Island and well off people there actually affect an English accent ! Fucking wierd. .The mids are just too fucking loud and boastful. My main beef is that apart from their Sh#t personality's , they are totally insular and bewilderingly ignorant of the world in general. A US survey once asked where is Great Britain and more people though it was near Vietnam than thought it was in Europe. There.... that's America sorted. The Engine guide to world travel. 😎👌 Funniest comment ever heard from an American tourist to Windsor Castle:
"That was not a very good idea was it, building Windsor Castle so close to Heathrow airport?"
Dumb Sh#t.

Radiohead - Reckoner. Should sound absolutely awesome, and drag you into the track. Prodigy - Breathe - prolific bass and a busy track. Lindsey Stirling - Heist.

'Changes Bowie' is a good compilation for testing. Okay so is more than 3 tracks but goes chronologically through a variety of studios and recording styles. An accurate system will make the differences obvious. Skip track one ofc because it's crap.

Nice call, especially on the sonic differences.
I have a strange relationship with David Bowie as I personally think his first four and last four albums were his very best, and absolutely dominated everything else that went on in between.

Ha!!! I actually have a copy of that! As mentioned elsewhere, I love those 'Living Stereo' discs and seek them out everytime I go to the States.
